Chad Guy

Chad has been a respected leader in the Canadian Music Industry for the last 20 years in a number of capacities, with production credits on numerous national and international events. He has expertise in all areas of the special event industry, with a proven track record for delivering world-class events on time, on budget, and without ever losing sight of providing outstanding patron experiences.

Chad began his career as a touring musician.  He moved home to Regina, SK in 2000 to accept the position of Theatre Manager at the Conexus Arts Centre.  In 2005 Chad left the theatre and formed Rawk Entertainment Group with Derek Bachman, as well as his own company - Chad Guy Productions Inc.

In addition to the many events the Rawk team produces each year, Chad is an in-demand contractor to Live Nation Canada and Live Nation International.  He has worked as a promoter rep and production manager on numerous concert tours including Avicii (Europe/UK), Nicki Minaj (Worldwide), Paul McCartney, P!nk, Drake, Bon Jovi, KISS, Iron Maiden, QOTSA, Motley Crue, AC/DC, Rush, Stone Temple Pilots, Ke$ha, Blink 182, Avenged Sevenfold, Lenny Kravitz, Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, Backstreet Boys, Tim McGraw and New Kids on the Block to list but a few.

Michael Ash

Michael has been involved in many areas of the hospitality business for over 20 years.

In 1994, he took a job busing tables at the famed Channel One club in Regina. The love for live music, theatre and the music business has kept Michael involved since. From organizing and booking fund-raisers to help 91.3 CJTR FM get on air, to booking talent and handling graphic design and marketing for The State Live music venue he has worked in every area of the live venue business.

Michael purchased the defunct The State Nightclub in 2004 and renamed the venue to The Distrikt. Michael successfully ran The Distrikt for 5 years before selling it to the Soundstage Entertainment Group. He then went on to become the Operations Manager for Soundstage in Regina who owns several restaurant and nightclub ventures.

Michael has bought and produced over 1500 shows in the past 20 years and remains to work within the entertainment and hospitality industry as a consultant and owns 4 successful restaurants and bars.

Carly Gowan

After graduating from Grant MacEwan University in 2007 in Arts and Cultural Management, Carly was employed as the Booking Manager for the Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts in Calgary, Alberta, managing a budget of $1 million dollars annually. For three years, she was the Program Coordinator at SaskMusic. Carly joined the Rawk Entertainment team in July 2012.

Matt Bevis

Matt has a communications background and began his career working in television broadcasting both in news and commercial production. Matt made the change over to event production in 2005 and now is a contract production manager for Rawk Entertainment, True North Sports and Entertainment, Live Nation Canada, the Juno Awards along with other high-profile clients. Matt has years of experience in festival site coordination, production management, and tour logistics. He also holds his display fireworks licence and is a pyrotechnics apprentice with the Government of Canada. Matt is currently based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Christopher Tessmer

Chris has been involved in the music industry since his student days at the University of Regina and has worked in various capacities over the last 15 years. Starting as a music promoter in small clubs, he joined Surreal Productions in 2001 and promoted an average of 50 shows per year for nearly the next decade, working with acts like Metric, City and Colour, Megadeth and their Gigantour, Alexisonfire, Death from Above 1979, and many of the biggest punk bands in the industry.

In August 2015, Chris joined the Rawk team, handling production for our casino division, and taking on responsibilities with Rawk's sister company - Capitol Staging.

Chris also works as a freelance writer and has connections with various music publications, as well as a decade of experience in the world of finance.


Saskatoon Tribal Council’s Vampire Gala, 2014, 2015, 2016

Polish your fangs for an evening of elegance and entertainment. This delightfully dark affair transformed the ballroom at Saskatoon’s TCU Place to a spooky yet elegant gala, featuring performances by Crystal Shawanda and Don Burnstick. The event was hosted in support of the Home Fires Foundation and the White Buffalo Youth Lodge.

Lieutenant Governors Arts Awards, 2013 & 2014

Presented by the Saskatchewan Arts Board, these awards celebrate the contributions and achievements of individuals, group and organizations in all arts disciples. The 2013 awards took place on the stage at Regina’s Conexus Arts Centre and the 2014 awards were hosted at Saskatoon’s TCU Place. The events featured performances by Andy Shauf, Young benjamins, and John Arcand.

The Regina Downtown Concert Series, 2014, 2015, 2016

Rawk Entertainment has proudly produced the 2014, 2015, and 2016 Regina Downtown Concert Series in conjunction with the Regina Downtown Business Association. Over twenty concerts have taken place in Regina's City Square Plaza, bringing excitement, entertainment, and music to the people of Regina.

Canadian Country Music Week, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016

For the past four years, Rawk Entertainment has produced the Canadian Country Music Association's Country Music Week. Some of the events we've proudly been a part of include the Gala Dinner & Awards, the Industry Awards Luncheon, the Discovery Showcase, Kitchen Party, and FanFest. The Rawk Entertainment is excited to be back to produce the 2017 event in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Grey Cup Festival, 2013

Rawk Entertainment was proud to produce all of the public events for at the Grey Cup Festival - Celebration in Rider Nation in November 2013. Huge crowds, huge production, and of course a huge win for the Roughriders on their home turf. A success in every way!
